A precursor to Rememberance Day on 11 November, this Community Element with 2 minutes silence gives cause to remember those who have died in armed confict during the two World Wars and afterwards.
The Community Element comes with material prepared through SASRA - Soldiers and Airmen's Scripture Readers Association which is based in Aldershot. It has readers in air bases and army bases in many parts of the UK.

In today's edition, The First wave of scholars to be funded through a medicine and business project at Aberdeen University by The Cormack Family Foundation.
The Bridge Of Don Remembers project comprises 9 schools and 3 churches where pupils take part in activities and stage exhibitions to remember Aberdeen's War dead. One of these activities is to research the stories behind the names on a war memorial. The event was launched at The Oldmachar branch of Legion Scotland. Churches include St Columba's Church Of Scotland chaplaincy team.
Aberdeen Inspired will be presented with Downtown Achievement Award of Excellence by The International Downtown Association because of the amazing street art which has appeared in Aberdeen. You can see some of the art walking around the City Centre and by visiting NUART on Facebook.
Kyle Judge fell 2 stories and suffered a major skull injury hich has already seen a massive operation and requires Kyle to wear a helmet yet he has bounced back and is attending school. He still has to undergo an operation to rebuild half his skull. See his optimistic smile
