In Brian's Good News this week,

Adam, a 9 year old pupil who attends Skene Square School in Aberdeen has won a design competition set by First Bus whose head quarters is in Aberdeen. Adam's design which is a fitting tribute to NHS workers fighting the Covid 19 pandemic. Adam's design is now adorning 3 buses with 1 each in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Forth Valley area.  The Aberdeen bus serves the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

The NSPCC which campaigns to end child abuse in Scotland has been pleading for more volunteers to come forward to be Child line volunteers.  The appeal has been backed by Aberdeen Councillor Murray Rattray.

A North East pupil Rory Sorrie who produced a video highlighting 5 simple steps to protect the planet has not only seen the video go viral. Rory and his family  have been surprised after a letter highlighting his video to Sir David Attenburgh resulted in a signed photograph of the Naturalist being sent to him. 

A North East man was delighted after his theatre loving girlfriend accepted his proposal for marriage on the stage of His Majesty's Theatre.
