Aberdeen Befriend A Child gets a big thumbs up from one of their volunteers after she was paired up with a child. The twosome have got on so well and have helped each other through various difficulties while enjoying lots of fun. There are many children waiting to be befriended.
A couple who started a street food business during lockdown in Elgin have been able to report that their venture has thrived. Their burgers are considered to be some of the best in Moray.
A sea front shelter along Aberdeen's Beach Promenade has been brightened up by a team of job seekers from Aberdeen's Foyer. Team members raised money for materials by walking the equivalent distance from Aberdeen to London over 7 days. The team raised £230. Along the way, they gained new skills and qualifications
A family have been reunited with their cat after 2 years. The search was made easier by the fact that the cat was microchipped.
Her Majesty The Queen has honoured the staff of the NHS collectively over the 4 nations by awarding The George Cross. A hand written message from The Queen said that NHS staff had carried out their work "with courage, compassion and dedication" for more than 70 years
