Title : Bad Habits
Text : Ephesians 2:10
Human beings are creatures of habit. Many of our practises become automatic. We are sometimes unaware that we do certain things or that we do them in a specific way.
Bad habits covers a wide range of negative behaviour. Bad habits hinders many good things and also offends others. This also include compulsive behaviour. This issue of bad habits assumes special importance in the light of scriptural demand that we should walk in newness of life according to (Romans 6:4). Remember that bad habits displease God but with His help they can be broken and replaced with alternatives.
None of us is immune to change. The ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐ specialises in change according to (2Corinthians 5:7). God can work in our lives in order to bring our conduct into line with what pleases Him. We are created to ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐. So change is possible for all persons and we are to ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ our Old Self which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires and ๐๐๐ ๐๐ a New Self created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
CONCLUSION:
Submit yourself to God and resist the devil. As you ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฑ๐๐๐๐ to be lord of your whole life count yourself dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Do NOT let sin and bad habits reign in your moral body to obey its evil desires anymore.
PRAYER:
Lord Jesus ๐ ๐๐๐๐ to you and i deny my Old Self and all its evil desires. Wash me by your blood and give me a New Self of righteousness and holiness.
AMEN!!
