Your Gospel in Lango of Northern Uganda

The Lango are a Nilotic ethnic group of people who live in the north-central region of Uganda. They are known for their culture, which includes: 

 

• Language: The Lango speak Leb-Lango, a language that is part of the Southern Luo group of the Western Nilotic language branch. 
   
• Agriculture: The Lango grow millet for food and beer, as well as many vegetables. Men and women share agricultural work, but men are responsible for cattle. 
   
• Head dress: The Lango are known for their elaborate and highly decorated head dresses.
