A Thought From South Africa - ' Thanking God For The Gift Of the Holy Spirit'
Thursday Jan 23, 2020
Thursday Jan 23, 2020
Morning devotion 🍽☕🍒
*THANKING GOD FOR THE GIFT OF THE SPIRIT *
🙏Lord, today I want to thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit in my life. Jesus, You said You had to go away so that the Helper, the Holy Spirit would come. And now, because I have put my trust in You, this gift and access to the power of the Holy Spirit has been given to me.
🙏I find it difficult to fully grasp and understand it all, but I thank You for equipping me and giving me the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is my Counselor, Helper and Teacher. The Holy Spirit empowers me with supernatural strength and power to do things that I could not do on my own.
🙏I am so thankful that I am never alone. Jesus, You walk with me. My Heavenly Father is always with me and I am empowered by the Holy Spirit. Thank You, Lord, for providing for me in so many ways.
🙏I am sorry for the times that I have grieved the Holy Spirit in my life and instead have tried to live out of my own strength and power. Please forgive me. Help me to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and to obey Your promptings in my life. I am so thankful that I do not have to live this life on my own. Thank You for providing what I need today. Amen.
📖 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.”John 14:26 NKJV
Enjoy His presenceShalom

A Thought From South Africa - 'Thy Kingdom Come' (By Francis Taylor)
Thursday Jan 23, 2020
Thursday Jan 23, 2020
Thy Kingdom ComeBy Frances TaylorLuke 17:20-21And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is withinYou.There are always passages that we read and don’t stop to think about. This one is sandwiched between the healing of the ten lepers and the search for signs of the end of the world. Let’s think about this – the Kingdom of God is within you. Aren’t we always asking for God’s Kingdom to come? So, what does this mean to you? It’s kind of surprising to read this and find out that what you’ve been looking for you already have! Now, all we need to do is figure out what that means. What do you imagine the Kingdom to be like? I think in terms of love, peace, and connecting with those who have died. Some of this I know I can have here. I can choose to love and not hate. I can choose to be peaceful amidst the chaos of the world around me. I can choose to spend time with those I love, and talk to those who have gone before and ask them to pray for me and for those that they loved on earth. I believe that the Kingdom is both now and still to come. I think we practice for what will be and we do that mainly by loving. If God is love and when we live in God, we live in love. If we will be filled with love in the Kingdom, I want my container – my spirit – to be as large as it can be to hold all the love it can. Now, I may be a bit fanciful, but Jesus didn’t fill us in as to how the Kingdom is both within us and to come, so I guess I can picture it the way I want. Fill in your picture and see how you answer the question for yourself. Prayer Lord, how much you want us to be with you. You have given us both the promise of the Kingdom to come and the message that it is within us now. Help us to build your Kingdom here on earth for all to see. Amen.

A Thought From South Africa - "Thank Him Every Day"
Wednesday Jan 22, 2020
Wednesday Jan 22, 2020
Thank Him Every Day
👆When Jesus told us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread,” He was teaching us dependence upon Him for daily provision (Matthew 6:11).
👉Even our Lord paused to give thanks before breaking the bread in John 6.👉Whatever words you use, learn to thank God for giving you this day your daily bread.👏Be thankful…
Offer to God thanksgiving… Come before His presence with thanksgiving… Enter into His gates with thanksgiving… In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. — Colossians 3:15; Psalm 50:14; Psalm 95:2; Psalm 100:4; 1 Thessalonians 5:18
👆This is one of God’s commands for healthy living. The Creator of the soul is the Master Psychologist. He knows that thanksgiving is not only appropriate but therapeutic
🤔Are you thankful to God like it’s your job? ✋stop 🛑 for a moment and give thanks! 🙌
🤷🏻♀What are you thanking Him for? As the year comes to an end Take our time to say thank you lord for this far you have brought us 🙌
#Thankful heart

A Thought From South Africa - ' Be Still and Know that I Am God'
Wednesday Jan 22, 2020
Wednesday Jan 22, 2020
📖Be still, and know that I am God.Psalm 46:10👉You can be glad because God is good.👉You can be still because He is active.👉You can rest because He is busy...To wait, biblically speaking, is not to assume the worst, worry, fret, make demands, or take control. Nor is waiting inactivity. It is a sustained effort to stay focused on God through prayer and belief. To wait is to “rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him;... not fret” (Psalm 37:7).📖Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. — Isaiah 40:31👉Delight yourself in God, and He will bring rest to your soul.Do you have a heartbreaking circumstance in your history that you blame yourself for?Is there something awful going on in your life that you just cannot make sense of?Stop and pray for the grace to endure and wait patiently for God (because God is in all the days), to comfort your heart.Remain in His Presence

'Stewarding God's Purpose For You' - A Thought from South Africa
Wednesday Jan 22, 2020
Wednesday Jan 22, 2020
Stewarding God’s Purpose for You
God has given us each unique gifts, and with the power of the Spirit, we can steward each of them for His glory.
👉No matter where you find yourself in life right now, God can use you to fulfill your purpose of glorifying Him. Many times throughout scripture, God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. It’s not because these people did something wonderful to deserve this purpose; God just uses them because they were willing.
👉Take Moses for example. When God called Moses to free the enslaved Israelites, Moses was helping his father in-law with some sheep. He was not a good speaker, nor had he proven himself as some great leader, but God still reached out to Him.
👉The same thing is true for all the disciples that Christ called. They were normal people. Some, Matthew for example, were even outcasts from society, but Jesus called them and they responded. After Christ’s resurrection and ascension, the disciples helped spread the gospel and plant churches. At one point, the writer of Acts calls John and Peter “uneducated, common men.” Acts 4:13
👉God is the one who gives us purpose. He provides us with the tools, resources, and talents we need to accomplish the purpose, but all we have comes from Him. As you read through, begin thinking about how God can use you right where you are at. Don’t wait until you get something else. Follow the lead of Moses and the disciples and just respond to His call.
📖 “So He said, “I will certainly be with you. And this shall be a sign to you that I have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.””Exodus 3:12 NKJV
🙏Remain steadfast In Him

'Therefore Go'
Our vision is to get the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ Son of God to people of every language group across the world and in such away that All can hear, see and experience Christ's Love for themselves.
This map gives an idea of our current reach. Bit by bit, we are attaining this vision.
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
