In today's edition - A Torry man Connor Forbes has been praised by local Councillor Audrey Nicoll for his work to help others by clearing and gritting paths in Torry. Connor wants to encourage others to even invest a little time regularly to do this and or other acts of kindness which go a long way to help others.
Dougie Bogie who is a carer working with Sacro Aberdeen has been creating art creations on Aberdeen Beach. Although these creations are washed away by the tide, they help people who Dougie helps to let go of anxiousness as they create and then let the tide wash away to create a clean sheet - something to apply in their lives.
A Bridge of Don couple are able to live life with added dimension and enjoyment thanks to a service dog, Leon trained to help dementia sufferers. Jon's psychiatrist recommended a dog particularly as Jon used to have dogs when younger. Leon was trained and provided through Alzheimer Scotland and Dogs for Good's Dementia Initiative.
Big Noise Aberdeen are continuing to forge forward connecting children and families with music where they make friends, learn teamwork and discipline. Big Noise Aberdeen has many opportunities from babies, primary to adult to get involved.

People's life experiences have a real attraction. This story of a Cornish tin miner resonates because ancestors of the G4G Radio Director were Cornish tin miners, some even Mine Captains.
Where you have come from is not where you are going to. Faith in Christ Jesus will in time enrich even your past to make your Life story a rich story attractive to others and enable them to see a life with a secure Salvation. God has not failed yet.

A North East Teenager Lewis McGregor has been busy at Future Choices - Inchgarth Community Centre encouraging youngsters to get out and volunteer in their communities. Lewis is also busy fund raising at Tillydrone Community Flat to help struggling families.
Scottish Blood Transfusion Service is calling on people to donate blood in this festive season. The face of the campaign Mark Hunter who needed many litres of blood after a bike accident is urging others to become donors.
A lady Margaret Bremmner who died at 106 had a great zest for life and laughing. She was an inspiration to her family and many at Alexander Scotts Hospital Eventide Home.
Hydro Group, an Aberdeen based subsea connector and cable engineering business gifted £1,125 worth of childrens jackets to Abernecessities. Abernecessities is based in Dyce.

A Fraserburgh lady, Ashley Mackie took her snow loving dog 9 year old Maggie May to the Cairngorms to enjoy the snow for 1 last time before she died. Maggie May had severe arthritis and had to be put to sleep on Monday. Ashley shared this on Social media and was amazed at the emotional and positive response she had. The great memories of Maggie May will run deep in Ashley and her family and all those who met her.
Aberdeen Cyrenians feature in this weeks Brian's Good News with their Assertive Outreach Street Begging Project. This project has been commissioned by Aberdeen City Council to 31 March 2020. The project offers advice and advocacy to anyone begging on the streets. The physical presence on the streets offers a reliable point of contact. The project will be stepped up during the Christmas Period. Two other projects - Direct Access and Street Alternatives will run every day for 2 weeks from December 21.
SACRO which is a Community Justice organisation and based in Edinburgh opened its doors at its Aberdeen Office to show case its work to the public. SACRO offer a wide range of services from helping victims of crimes, re habilitating prisoners to providing housing to mentoring.
The Green Dog Walkers of Stonehaven are hoping that a poster campaign will result in positive change in people's behaviour towards picking up dog mess. The poster is sponsored by the Dunottar Woodland Park Association and funded by the Local Council as it is part of a National Scheme.

A Christmas Appeal for CFINE has been launched by The Evening Express and Original 106 has been launched. Staff at CFINE are heartened by the generosity of the giving which will enable families to fight off poverty during the Christmas Season. All donations should be handed into Original 106's offices in Marischal Square Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm and Saturday 9 am - 4 pm.
A young boy Joshua who has a severe genetic condition Haemophilia A has not let his condition hold him back and has given his story to website - whysititout.co.uk with the backing of his family.
A veteran has called for more people to visit ex military people if they are in hospital or even send cards. Joyce Macmillan who served with Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps called on hospital staff to ask a question to verify if patients are veterans then get in contact with SSAFA to organise visits if they are veterans. She said cards meant a lot to her.
Sheep are on the loose and are hiding in shops and businesses as a Sheep Trail in the Bridge of Don. The scheme is organised by St Columbas Church in Bridge of Don to highlight the Christmas Story and encouraging school children and local residents to visit and support local businesses. To take part, register at stcbod.eventbrite.com . There is a prize for one entrant finding named sheep.
