To wait is to “rest in the Lord,  and wait patiently for Him;... not fret” (Psalm 37:7).📖Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. — Isaiah 40:31👉Delight yourself in God, and He will bring rest to your soul.Do you have a heartbreaking circumstance in your history that you blame yourself for?Is there something awful going on in your life that you just cannot make sense of?Stop and pray for the grace to endure and wait patiently for God (because God is in all the days), to comfort your heart.Remain in His Presence

Stewarding God’s Purpose for You
God has given us each unique gifts, and with the power of the Spirit, we can steward each of them for His glory.
👉No matter where you find yourself in life right now, God can use you to fulfill your purpose of glorifying Him. Many times throughout scripture, God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. It’s not because these people did something wonderful to deserve this purpose; God just uses them because they were willing.
👉Take Moses for example. When God called Moses to free the enslaved Israelites, Moses was helping his father in-law with some sheep. He was not a good speaker, nor had he proven himself as some great leader, but God still reached out to Him.
👉The same thing is true for all the disciples that Christ called. They were normal people. Some, Matthew for example, were even outcasts from society, but Jesus called them and they responded. After Christ’s resurrection and ascension, the disciples helped spread the gospel and plant churches. At one point, the writer of Acts calls John and Peter “uneducated, common men.” Acts 4:13
👉God is the one who gives us purpose. He provides us with the tools, resources, and talents we need to accomplish the purpose, but all we have comes from Him. As you read through, begin thinking about how God can use you right where you are at. Don’t wait until you get something else. Follow the lead of Moses and the disciples and just respond to His call.

Community Element - Interview with Edmond and Elizabeth Gatima of Torry St Fitticks Church

During this Monday's Gospel Cafe - Rev Edmond and his wife Elizabeth Gatima came in as guests to the program to tell us about a Free Concert on 18 March.  The concert is given by the Watoto Children's Choir.  It begins at 6.30 pm at Torry St Fitticks Church on Walker Road in Torry.  We hope to be there to record the event.
In addition to the concert, there is so much more going on in future weeks.

Power Hour - Stand Firm, Victory is God's

Power Hour is applying the scriptures contained in the Holy Bible in prayer.  
In this edition, we recognise our weakness as humans and God's Sovereignty and limitless capability to achieve anything. We recognise Christ Jesus as Lord and Saviour as being the means as making us acceptable to God

Brian's Good News 10 January 2020

In today's edition - A Torry man Connor Forbes has been praised by local Councillor Audrey Nicoll for his work to help others by clearing and gritting paths in Torry.  Connor wants to encourage others to even invest a little time regularly to do this and or other acts of kindness which go a long way to help others.
Dougie Bogie who is a carer working with Sacro Aberdeen has been creating art creations on Aberdeen Beach.  Although these creations are washed away by the tide,  they help people who Dougie helps to let go of anxiousness as they create and then let the tide wash away to create a clean sheet - something to apply in their lives.
A Bridge of Don couple are able to live life with added dimension and enjoyment thanks to a service dog, Leon trained to help dementia sufferers. Jon's psychiatrist recommended a dog particularly as Jon used to have dogs when younger. Leon was trained and provided through Alzheimer Scotland  and Dogs for Good's Dementia Initiative.
Big Noise Aberdeen are continuing to forge forward connecting children and families with music where they make friends, learn teamwork and discipline.  Big Noise Aberdeen has many opportunities from babies, primary to adult to get involved.

Testimony of a Cornish Tin Miner

People's life experiences have a real attraction. This story of a Cornish tin miner resonates because ancestors of the G4G Radio Director were Cornish tin miners, some even Mine Captains.
Where you have come from is not where you are going to. Faith in Christ Jesus will in time enrich even your past to make your Life story a rich story attractive to others and enable them to see a life with a secure Salvation.  God has not failed yet.
