Brian presents his top 10 Good News stories collated from good news stories over the past 12  months. 
We begin at No 10.
10.  An elderly ladies 88th birthday was made extra special when Doctors and Nurses on the ward she was staying at ARIsang and signed Happy Birthday to her in British Sign Language.  Margaret McRobbie and her family were bowled over.  Staff derived much pleasure in doing this for her.
9. Pupils from Hazlehead Academywere praised for their quick thinking and action when they spotted a lady lying on the ground close to Woodend  Hospital.  Their actions enabled medical staff from the hospital to get to the scene quickly and treat the lady.
8. A mum of two in Keith undertook the Edinburgh Half Marathonto raise £2,500 for The Beeches - The enhanced provision space at Keith Primary School. The centre provides support for children with a range of additional support needs.  The money went towards purchasing iPads and other equipment.  The staff are delighted, grateful and looking forward to using all the equipment in their work.
7. More than 50 ex football players organised a charity match in honour of their friend Kenny William who has motor neurone disease.  The match was a chance to catch up and raise cash to fight motor Nerone disease.  Kenny was a defender for 3 teams including; Kemnay Amateursand Stoneywood Amateurs.  
6. Suzanne Davies is well on the mend after surviving a brain tumour. Love and support from friends, family and medical staff as well as Suzanne's positive outlook enabled her to remain strong.

Community Element - Green and Orange Chef - Orange and Vegetable Soup

Making an orange and vegetable soup for those on low income.  Soup ingredients sourced from what was already to hand and soup pack mix, celery,  orange - £2.29 from CFINE.  This will comfortably feed over 5 people.
Between the spoken recipe and youtube video you should get a tasty nutritious soup in just over an hour.
