Community Element - Cornerstone Scotland

Rob came across Cornerstone Scotland through a pop up charity shop in George St in Aberdeen.  THeir website states
"Every day across Scotland, Cornerstone provides care and support for adults, children and young people with disabilities and other support needs.
We operate a person centred approach and identify goals for everyone we support based on four key areas - increased social inclusion, improved health, improved independence and improved wellbeing."

Daisy May - A double amputee due to a rare bone defect has more than overcome her disability and with her parents love has gone to being able to run, walk, ride a bicycle and become a fashion model, Her zest for life and her beaming smile has landed her a contact with a high street clothing chain to model its attractive wear range on line.
 
Housing First Aberdeen which is led by Aberdeen Cyrenians and with other organisations including Aberdeen Foyer,  Turning Point Scotland, Aberdeen City Council Housing and Support Department, Aberdeenshire Council  has been awarded £400,000 to tackle homelessness. The Scheme is backed by Josh Little-JOhn of Social Bite.

2 Events have been launched by Alzheimers Scotland to bring those with dementia together with a common cause.  Both events are sport related  and take place at Pittodrie Stadium 2.30 pm on 27 August   and 5 September  2.30 pm at Mannofield - Ome of Aberdeenshire Cricket Club.

Sundown Service 2018 for NE Christian Youth Camp
