Residents at Sue Ryder Dee View Court in Kincorth have been given a taste of freedom through the use of VR headsets. Dee View Court is fundraising to allow it to care for a further 20 people. A survey in Aberdeenshire has been launched into opening a Neuro Support Hub in Aberdeenshire. Staff are looking for opinions with sufferers of neurological conditions. Today , Ashley and Helen from SamH- Scottish Association for Mental Health were invited to St Colmbas Church of Scotland in Bridge of Don who hold monthly coffee mornings to high light and raise funds for different organisations.
SAMH were the beneficiaries this month.
Ashley and Helen were joined by Christa Reid who has also helped to raise awareness for aspects of SAMH's Work.

A vandalised skate park has been spruced up at St Fitticks Park in Torry and features a mural. The aim is to get would be trouble makers to take pride in the land mark.
Fire fighters from Portlethen Scottish Fire and Rescue Training Centre in Portlethen have tackled Bennachie 1,699 ft climb in full fire gear to raise funds for Archie Foundation and Anthony Nolan Trust.
Boogie in The Bar discos which are dementia friendly are set to hit The Beach Ballroom 26 September.
