In this edition, youngsters in the Garthdee area have been engaged in deloping, producing and siting dog poo bag holders to highlight the menace of dog poo in the area. The scheme involves a competition where parents photograph and l the poo bag holders in situ and submit to Garthdee Community Counci  with a chance for the winning design to win £100 in vouchers.  submit by email to garthdeecc@gmail.com

Romans 5:6- 11
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! 10 For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Congratulations ‘Home Away From Home' a Feature Film by Mr. John-William Noble, an ‘official selection' to the 7 April 2018 Christian Film Festival! Attached is the poster with the laurels it was awarded for being an official selection to the CFF! This awesome film is about an exchange student who comes to England and finds Jesus – that is a great message! A Chinese student travels to Edinburgh to study. She soon encounters many cultural differences and the need to adapt in many situations. However, she begins to explore bigger questions about her very purpose in life which leads her to explore the teachings of the Bible about Jesus Christ! The credits include: John-William Noble (Director, Writer, Producer), Binglin Luo (Writer, Key Cast - “Endian”), Serena Luo (Key Cast - “Michelle”), Ashleigh More (Key Cast - “Daniella”), Salt Zhang (Key Cast - “Kosempai Sarah”), and Michael Parker (Key Cast - “Jack”)! Lewis Edgar who is a Graphic Designer from Aberdeen is shining a light on mental health.  Fandabby has helped Lewis through depression, anxiety and PTSD.  Profits from Fandabby will go to YoungMinds and Rethink Mental Illness.  Both these organisations support and promote Lewis's project.
