Todays Message of Hope  comes from Luke 17: 11-19
Jesus Heals Ten Men With Leprosy
11 Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy[b] met him. They stood at a distance 13 and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”
14 When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed.
15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. 17 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? 18 Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”

Power Hour - Call on His Name

We are called to prayer even more now than ever in these dark and troubled times as we witness persecution, trouble, distress in many places. Prayer even a simple prayer like The Lord's Prayer can make a difference in times of trouble.
Hebrews 12v1 says we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and sin and run with patience the race set before us.
So we pray for street pastors, churches, family, safety, American election, persecuted Christians, bullies, lonely, sad, dispossessed, strangers, others, ourselves knowing that our King will visit with us for he cares for our troubles and misfortunes.
We can come boldly to the throne of grace and ask Him. Call on His name Jesus, call on His name. JESUS.

Prayer For The Night - There Is A Righteous God in Heaven

There is a Righteous God in Heaven who stands up for the weak, fatherless, afflicted, needy, poor, strangers and widows,  destitute of all nations. Psalms 82:3-4, Psalm 140:12
Psalm 146: 9-10.  A God who will purge evil  Deuteronomy 19:19
There is a God who knows people's hearts, who recognises love and kindness and a God who punishes those who are un kind and persecute, those who are bullies.  Matthew 25:31 - 46.
There is a God who Loves and is Righteousness.  Because of Jesus Christ, this same God extends forgiveness, when people believe and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Prayer For The Night - Breaking Agreement with Disappointment

Romans 15:13   May The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may over flow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Prayer For The Night - Leaving a Living Legacy

The inspiration came from a sermon to be broadcast soon from a church. It got Rob thinking.  How we prepare before we leave?  What impact do we want to make? Who have we got in our lives at present?  By the end of the program, the title was clear.

Prayer for the Night - When God Says Go.. It means Go

A good few years back which shows my age there was a comedy series based on the goings on at Central UK Government.  Many of the phrases used by Civil servants mean something different and often opposite to what people hear them saying.
For instance  : At the appropiate juncture, in the fulness of time means we have no intention of bringing what you are telling us to pass.
Come back with evidence of progress... facts, figures   - we have serious reservations because it interupts our comfort zone and political structure but you can try to convince us.
Have you every been there?
These are excuses given even by Christians when it hurts their comfort zones.  How many times do we find ourselves doing the same thing to others when it interrupts our comfort zone and way of thinking?
How many times have we put things off just to please or pacify others?
How many times have we rejected God in this way? 
How many times when we have had a good plan and passion has it been slammed down on our heads?  It could be at our work or even in an organisation.
Everyone has a destiny. Gospel4Grampian is about living life to the full, having the courage to stand up and be counted away from the bullies.
How many times has a person with a God given plan been rejected by others simply because it interrupts their comfort zone and political stability?
Time to Listen to  and Obey God rather than men (Acts 5:29 and Matt 22:37) .  Time to Seek God and His Kingdom, His Righteousness. (Matt 6:33)  Time to Believe God is For you (2 Corintians 6:2)  Stand up be counted. Now is the time to Rise above your critics with the strength God gives you and be part of the Destiny God has given to you.to make a positive difference into peoples lives.  As you Life your Life to the full by helping others,they too will be able to Live Life to the Full.  SO GO...Dont hold back and do not be afraid your your enemies and critics..
