Steve Redeey talked passionately about the pressures lorry drivers are under to get goods to the supermarkets. He has seen this first hand in his new job. HIs first week has been a steep learning curve.The next time you or I take a chocolate digestive, lets remember the guys including the producers who got it there. This Christmas is Operation Christmas Trucker, An act of kindness, a word or encouragement, simply giving priority to a trucker on the road could make all the difference. Let's do something and keep doing it. For those who can, make up one or two goodie bags for drivers and give with love and a Christmas card.

Steve Reddey related his experiences recording Songs of Praise. The special needs of lorry drivers were highlighted. Glory Road is beginning a Operation Christmas Driver campaign to see drivers helped with a few comforts during long winter hours in the cab. They are not forgotten. Rob and Ellen visited the 'Safe Zone' located near Aberdeen's Belmont Street where Rob spoke to Ali, one of the Street Pastors. The impression we came away with was that the experience helps to affirm and bond individual pastors. Rob was joined by Graham Sanderson, Keith Creighton and Steve Reddey. An interview beset with technical challenges. I'm afraid we did not get to hear Keith on this occasion but it was great to hear Graham tell listeners about progress made to date on the Emerald Isle. Later Keith wanted us to emphasize that God does not respect boundaries so Glory Road has the whole Emerald Isle.
