Gospel4You -Knowing The God of The Universe

How far can I go?
In current dispensation women have rights and are therefore influential. Key question we ask is “How far can I go?” A common question presented by motivational World Class Leader Dr John Maxwell – How Far can you go as a Leader is dependent on your level of influence. Everything about leadership is INFLUENCE!
Transformation - inspiration by Dr John Maxwell - the transformation process to be a sustainable leader of influence requires leaders to develop 6 pictures:
✓  Picture 1 – A Self Portrait – A picture of myself.
✓  Picture 2 – Partnership is critical – “I am a partnership”.
If I see you hurting, I will help you by comforting you;
If I see you broken, I will fix you;
If I see you valuable, I see that you have great value and I SERVE you. The
attitude of a SERVANT is so much different to those who help one who is hurting, or one that is broken because these influences are short-lived. But a person who is valuable is influential period - you hold the valuable incumbent’s ladder till they get to the top. “
✓  Picture 3 – Ladder – Help people climb higher, climbing where they have never climbed before. We hold the ladder and stay with the ladder climber until they too are on top – the staying is what John calls “Value Others”.
He says there are three ways of helping people:

6th Annual Sankey Sing Along from Victoria Gospel Hall

The recording was made on cassette tape (analogue - The tape lasts 45 minutes each side and needs to be turned to continue.  A few seconds of Robert Walker's message was lost) 
The Sankey annual sing along spanned many years which was held at Victoria Gospel Hall. Ira D Sankey was an American Gospel Singer.  These Sankey Sing Alongs of Gospel hymn favourites also features a Gospel message which for this  22 June 1990 recording is given by Robert Walker.

The Meaning of Numbers: The Number 40

Mentioning 146 times in Scripture, the number 40 symbolizes a period of testing, trial, or probation. During Moses' life, he lived forty years in Egypt and forty years in the desert before God selected him to lead his people out of slavery.
Moses was also on Mount Sinai for 40 days and nights, on two separate occasions (Exodus 24:18, 34:1 - 28), receiving God's laws. He also sent spies, for forty days, to investigate the land God promised the Israelites as an inheritance (Numbers 13:25, 14:34).
The prophet Jonah powerfully warned ancient Nineveh, for forty days, that its destruction would come because of its many sins. The prophet Ezekiel laid on His right side for 40 days to symbolize Judah's sins (Ezekiel 4:6).
Elijah went 40 days without food or water at Mount Horeb. Jesus was tempted by the devil many times during the 40 complete days he fasted just before his ministry began. He also appeared to his disciples and others for 40 days after his resurrection from the dead.

pray human limited prayers – ask the Holy Spirit of God to make intercession on your behalf
through you. We must be willing to offer ourselves as a living sacrifice to let Holy Spirit pray
through us as inspired by Him. Our human prayers are vain prayers when we begin to prayer
legalistic prayers rather than relational prayers.
