Gospel4You -”It Is Written - One Name, No Other Way”

IT IS WRITTEN’ These words are three words spoken by Christ Jesus when he was being tempted in the wilderness on at least three occasions before starting his public ministry.  
These words invoke – God’s Word into action.  As Isaiah 55:11 says
It is the same with my word.    I send it out, and it always produces fruit.It will accomplish all I want it to,    and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
In this edition we realise that God's Word says clearly

In this edition - Our theme is 'Fingers' - the fingers of Christ who lived, served, died in our place and was Raised to Life.
Hebrews 12:2 (New International Version)
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
 
The King James refers to pioneer as ‘author’. Authors in biblical times dis  not have mobiles and tablets but probably a feather and parchment to write on with their fingers.
In this edition - we hear Your Gospel - the essence of the Gospel found in John 3:16 - For God So Loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son so that Whosoever Believes shall not perish but Shall have Everlasting Life.  in different languages.  In this Your Gospel Project, we want to make sure eventually that wherever you come from in the world, you will be able to hear the Gospel in your own native language.  We've made a start.  There are over 6450 languages to go.
Also in this edition, we hear from Alison Cran as she speaks candidly of what God has don in her life and share in her poem , 'He walks with me on water' which epitomises her testimony.
We hear from David McMaster whose message is 'Would You be Free?'
We finish off in prayer and give you the opportunity to respond in prayer to what you have heard.

In this Edition,  Gospel Hope is the theme and an important reality.

But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,

And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
Psalm 37:34Put your hope in the Lord. Travel steadily along his path. He will honor you by giving you the land. You will see the wicked destroyed.

And Nehemiah continued, “Go and celebrate with a feast of rich foods and sweet drinks, and share gifts of food with people who have nothing prepared. This is a sacred day before our Lord. Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the Lord is your strength!”
 
We think of Joy as a fruit of The Spirit.
