Gospel4You is broadcast to make the Good News of The Gospel available in as may ways as possible to as many people as possible across Europe, N Africa, The Middle East and beyond on Monday evenings at 7 pm UK time by Shortwave, Medium Wave and on line.
Jesus Christ often told stories to illustrate a point. These are called parables. They were designed so that people could simply listen or, if they chose could think about the story. Jesus told several of these parables to illustrate what the Kingdom of Heaven is like.
One of these was about the Kingdom of Heaven being like a pearl of great value. In this episode, we think about this parable and how it relates to us today.
Our core scripture for today's program is Matthew 13:45-46
45 “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls. 46 When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it!

Gospel4You - Episode 27 - ‘Saved by Christ‘
Monday Oct 11, 2021
Monday Oct 11, 2021
Imagine a stick of candy rock with the words - 'Loved by God'. Each of us us loved by God even from birth. God went much further. He sent his only Son Jesus Christ to take on him all the sin - the things we have done wrong in our lives. In order for this to become operational in our lives - we need to believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ Son of God is our Redeemer and indeed that He died on the Cross for our sins to make us right with God. Jesus Christ rose again from the dead to demonstrate to all who believe that we also will rise again.
When we Believe, God sees the blood of his Son over our lives. This blood sacrifice makes us right with God so that we can have a rich relationship with God here now on earth as well as in the life to come after we leave earth. It is almost as if God sees the words 'Saved by Christ' stamped throughout out lives.
John 3:16 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave[a] his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Oherwydd bod Duw wedi caru'r byd felly, nes iddo roi ei uniganedig Fab, fel na ddifethir pwy bynnag sy'n credu ynddo, ond cael bywyd tragwyddol.
Gweddi am Iachawdwriaeth.
Annwyl Arglwydd,
Mae'n ddrwg gen i am y ffordd rydw i wedi byw fy mywyd.
Am fy ngweithredoedd...Fy ngeiriau, yn ysgrifenedig ac ar lafar, fy meddyliau a'm hagweddau, fy addewidion toredig a'r ffordd yr wyf wedi siomi pobl. Os gwelwch yn dda maddau i mi. Helpa fi i edifarhau - i droi cefn ar yr holl bethau anghywir yn fy mywyd. Os gwelwch yn dda yn awr yn dod i mewn i fy mywyd yn awr gan dy Ysbryd i fod yn fy Arglwydd a Gwaredwr am byth a helpu fi i fod y person yr ydych am i mi fod. Amen

In today's program, we let scripture guide us as to the flip side of the Gospel. What scripture tells us will happen to those who do not accept the Good News of Salvation made possible by Jesus Christ Son of God.
This is John 3:16 in context for our readers.
John 3:16-21. ““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.””

For our Scripture - we take our lead from John 1:16-17 Good News Translation - I have complete confidence in the gospel; it is God's power to save all who believe, first the Jews and also the Gentiles. 17 For the gospel reveals how God puts people right with himself: it is through faith from beginning to end. As the scripture says, “The person who is put right with God through faith shall live.”[a]

'Therefore Go'
Our vision is to get the Good News of Salvation through Jesus Christ Son of God to people of every language group across the world and in such away that All can hear, see and experience Christ's Love for themselves.
This map gives an idea of our current reach. Bit by bit, we are attaining this vision.
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
