Our heart with Power Hour is to Apply God’s Word in Prayer.  It is also about inspiring – seeing the results of God’s Work in Prayer.  Today, we’ve recorded a Narrative of Events The Hebrides Revival And Awakening 1949 to 1953.  
As you listen, I hope you will get the sense of excitement as I did when reading this book for the first time and still now.  We are going on the premise that as God did that then in 1949 to 1953, what will God do now when we press in and pray fervently.

God's Love For Us expressed by Christ Jesus Son of God is Sure
God’s Commitment to us is sure.

Romans 8:31

Power Hour is about applying God's word in Prayer.  Having explored God's commitment to us  and our commitment to him - we invited listeners to first Ask Christ to be their Lord and Saviour
Dear God, I've heard of what your Son Jesus Christ did on the Cross for us 
I come to ask for your forgiveness for all I have done, said, thought, my wrong attitudes and for the things I have left undone.  I'm truly sorry 
With your help, I turn away from these things.
Please now I accept you as Lord and Saviour over my life. Come into my life by your Spirit and help me to be the person you want me to be 
Amen
We also invited people to ask God for a vision for their lives.

Power Hour - Truth and Righteousness

Our mission is to apply God's word from the scriptures found in the Bible in prayer.  When we do that, we not only read and hear God's Word but, as prayer is talking to God- we get God's perspective for our lives.

We've been recording a book entitledThe Hebrides Revival and Awakening 1949 to 1953 - A Short History compiled by Alec Dunn with extracts from Duncan Campbell who was involved.
 
This is a short extract from the book concerning God's Intervention in the district of Arnol.  
 
The book is written in a very engaging style and it was easy to get a sense of the mounting excitement and passion.
